Hello!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
It’s a common question when you’re going through grade school. Most people feel that they have to know this answer, but does anyone truly know? It’s funny that we don’t ask who people want to be – like somehow our roles and jobs are more important than who we are.
My dad has accomplished so much in his life yet once he told me and my business partner, “I’m still trying to figure out who I want to be when I grow up.” He said it with a chuckle but it was profoundly honest. I’ve always remembered it.
We are constantly searching for purpose and meaning in what we do. Some people find it, others pretend to and some of us just stop looking. I have a loose idea of who I want to be but I’m still trying to figure out how I get from here to there.
I want to help people turn their ideas into a reality. I think a lot of people have great ideas, but they may not know how to bring them to life. I think it’s even harder to keep those ideas alive. I want to enact change through other people and their ideas.
I’m going to use this site as a central hub for those projects. My main focuses right now are Open Design and AromaPoetry.
I hope to share a few other projects soon!
Love this Troy! Who we want to be is more important than what we do for work. Our individuality and character is first priority. We can definitely show who we are through work though. And make a positive impact on others.
This is an awesome mindset to have-continue to focus on who we are. And grow everyday, passing that along to others.
